The device must be thoroughly cleaned by the user after use. SOAK 60 degrees and wash twice, and finally rinse twice.

The device MUST NOT be used to measure strongly colored samples, which may cause discoloration of the plastic parts of the device. Additionally, the device MUST NOT be used to measure clearly reducing or oxidizing samples. If an organic solvent is to be used instead of an aqueous buffer, this must be discussed and clarified in advance whether measuring with ITC makes sense. This also applies to existing users. If you are considering measuring something other than an aqueous solution/buffer or protein, please contact Perttu Permi before using the device.
The user is also responsible for investigating whether measurements have been made with corresponding solvents at ITC (literature search regarding experimental arrangements).
